WWE/SMALLVILLE Cross Promotion
Next month, Batista will travel to Vancouver, Canada, for a few days to tape an episode for one of the new CW’s shows. It’s SmackDown, right? Guess again. The Animal will be a guest star on Smallville, a Superman-themed action series starring Tom Welling as Clark Kent. He’ll be taping episode nine of the new season, which premieres Thursday, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m. on the new CW. The network is also the new home of SmackDown, premiering Friday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m. Stay tuned to WWE.com for more information on Batista’s stint on Smallville and the new CW.

The role Batista will be playing on the Smallville series is a villain from the Phantom Zone. He'll be in the ninth episode of this season, airing during the November sweeps week.
